Apply to Asinov

The first cohort starts 12 October 2026 in Renens. This form takes about 10–15 minutes. There are no wrong answers. We read every application by hand.

Short on time? Fill in what you can, then use Save & continue later at the bottom: we’ll email you a link to pick up where you left off.

Applications open on 17 June 2026 (opens in 2 days). The form below is read-only until then.

About you
English proficiency
Are you 18 or older?

The program and the 42 route both require you to be 18+.

Sponsorship

Some applicants attend with an employer’s backing. This is optional context; it does not affect selection.

Is an employer sponsoring your participation?
Programming readiness

This is the main signal we use to decide whether you can enter the curriculum directly or build foundations first.

Do you have any programming / software experience?

No problem. Applicants without programming experience can build the foundations first through our partner school, 42 Lausanne (separate, free admission). We’ll discuss this at interview.

Your level with Python
Comfort with Linux / the command line
Comfort with Git
Robotics & adjacent experience

All optional. We use this to rank candidates, never to screen anyone out.

Machine learning / RL / computer vision exposure
Simulation / robotics tools you’ve used
Motivation & context
Logistics & commitment
The program is full-time and in person in Renens for ~6 months. Can you attend in person daily?
Will you be relocating, and would you like support finding accommodation in the Renens area?

For information only; it does not affect selection. It helps us know who to point toward housing resources.

Can you commit full-time for the full duration?
If your programming background isn’t yet sufficient for direct entry, are you open to building it first via 42 Lausanne (separate admission, adds significant time)?

42 Lausanne runs its own selection (the “Piscine”). Being open to it means you’re eligible to apply, not guaranteed a place.
